My kids LOVE the french toast crockpot breakfast casserole (they love ANYTHING sweet for breakfast)!

The hubby loves any crockpot breakfast with eggs, cheese, hashbrowns and grits and our out of town friends LOVE the tater tot breakfast casserole I make in my beloved crockpot for our annual Christmas potluck…. and me?

Overnight Crockpot Breakfast Ideas

To start this crockpot party off, let me share the BEST Overnight French Toast Crockpot Casserole.

It is SO easy to throw together the night before and cook overnight!

That image above sums up the entire process to make this overnight slow cooker breakfast.

All you need is the ingredients:

24 oz of bread
8 eggs
4 Cups milk
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Simply cut up your bread into chunks and toast them in your oven (about 15-20 minutes at 300 F should do it)

While your bread toasts, whisk your eggs, then add in the milk, cinnamon, brown sugar and salt.

Use some softened butter to grease your slow cooker crock.

Then layer the bread evenly on the bottom and pour your egg mix over the bread.

Let the egg mixture soak into your bread for about 10-15 minutes, then gently stir it up so all the bread is coated.

Gently press down on the bread so they’re all covered by egg mixture.

Put the lid on and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
