I browsed online and got to know that it needs just basic ingredients except cream of tartar. So i ordered that from amazon. Couple days back i got the product and made this delicious dessert yesterday. It was very easy to make. The only hard thing is getting the sugar syrup to the right consistency which is not that hard. The end result was so worth it. So please try it.

hi i was so looking forward to try out this receipe as i was missing eating it. nd i did. But i miserably failed! it turned out to be burnt toffee which started to smoke in less than 30 mins. i had to throw out the whole thing. I tried this out at midnight and am gutted due to the waste of time and money in a lockdown. i cant imagine what could have possibly gone wrong as i tried the receipe to the tee. used maizeflour which was slightly yellow in colour.

Corn flour and cornstarch are 2 very different things... I am pretty sure you are not supposed to make turkish delight with corn flour.
